Columbus Academy’s students can count on the financial support designed by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank to help them develop their skills. The “per Merito” initiative is a loan solution that every student residing in Italy can obtain subject to having passed all exams of one’s own Plan of Study. No escrow (or guarantee) is required.
The “per Merito” initiative allows you to easily deal with the tuition fees, the purchase of the teaching materials, accommodation costs and everything else that is necessary to approach your studies with peace of mind.
At the end of your university career, you can have a “bridge period” of maximum 24 months, during which you will not have to repay the loaned amount.
You can repay your loan in a lump sum or by taking a new loan of a maximum duration of 30 years. In case of early repayment, there are no additional bank fees.
The rate is fixed and established at the time of your loan application.
All interest is paid by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank to Fund for Impact, a fund created for those experiencing difficulties in accessing credit.

“per Merito” is a credit product dedicated to students enrolled in universities in Italy, abroad, or in post-graduate training institutions. To learn more about the specific contract conditions, consult the Information Sheets available in any bank’s branch and on the bank’s website. The granting of the loan is subject to the approval of Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. Bank.
