Tax deductibility of Tuition Fees

The tuition fees of academic courses delivered by non-state universities are deductible on the basis of the faculty/school you wish to enrol at, to an extent not exceeding the amount established annually by Ministerial Decree by 31 December.

All tuition fees (i.e., taxes, duties, ancillary expenses and regional taxes arising from the right to tertiary education) are considered deductible. Hence, you are entitled to a tax allowance of 19% on your income (art. 15, paragraph 1 e-bis of the TUIR – Italian Income Tax Consolidation Act, approved by Presidential Decree No. 917 of 22 December 1986).

The Ministerial Decree 23/12/2016 No. 993, published in the Official Gazette on 07/03/2017, sets the maximum amounts on which to apply the tax allowance on your gross income tax (related to taxes and tuition fees of non-State universities).

Tuition Fees for the Bachelor’s Course in Language Mediation Sciences (L-12)

FIRST YEAR STUDENTS – ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023*

Registration fee: € 2,000.00 (two thousand/00)

Administration fees: € 500.00 (five hundred/00)

Examination Fee: € 300.00 (three hundred/00)

Taxes: Regional Taxes for the Right to Tertiary Education € 140.00 (one hundred and forty/00)

The Tuition Fees for academic year 2022/2023 can be paid:

  • As a lump-sum payment (i.e., one single payment);
  • As instalments, according to the instalment plan signed by the student, if any; alternatively, according to the following plan:

    • Administration fees and exam fee: € 800.00 (at the time of enrolling)

    • First instalment: € 500.00 (by 13/10)

    • Second instalment: € 500.00 (by 13/01)

    • Third instalment: € 500.00 (by 14/04)

    • Fourth instalment: € 500.00 (by 07/07)

* The fee related to the right to tertiary education can be paid directly to DiSCo (Right to Education Body) Lazio. Alternatively, it can be added to the first instalment.

Second Year Students – Academic Year 2022/2023

Registration fee: € 2,000.00 (two thousand/00)

Administration fees: € 500.00 (five hundred/00)

Examination Fee: € 300.00 (three hundred/00)

Taxes: Regional Taxes for the Right to Tertiary Education € 140.00 (one hundred and forty/00)

Graduation Fee: € 300.00 (three hundred/00)

Taxes: Regional Taxes for the Right to Tertiary Education € 140.00 (one hundred and forty/00)

The Tuition Fees for academic year 2022/2023 can be paid:

  • As instalments, according to the instalment plan signed by the student, if any; alternatively, according to the following plan:

    • Administration fees and exam fee: € 800.00 (at the time of enrolling)
